I got an alarm system installed at BestBuy. Four door triggers, dual stage impact sensor, killstart, two remotes. All works well. You just have to find a place that will install an aftermarket alarm system on Benzes because most places don't want to be liable if stuff goes bad and they get screwed. You can try tweeter, I know they do benzes, some bestbuy's will and most circuit cities will as well.

I would probably either go with Clifford or DEI. They are both good alarmsystems.

I have a Viper alarm system. Remote start is gonna cost you more on top of the regular alarm installation...you can try to go Circuit city...I'm pretty sure they'll do it for you. My regular alarm installation total including the alarm purchase was about $300.

thats not that bad...i might just get a regular keyless alarm. but i really like the remote start feature. im getting the clifford rs3 for only $180 so i might as well take advantage of that..

Yea, I like the idea of remote start...but at the time, it was really expensive to put it on my car. I think they wanted around the same if not more, but that was two years ago.

I have an aftermarket keyless entry system already. It came with car, but apparently the Benz dealer that sold me the car didn't know what the hell they were doing cause they said it was the reason my car was having trouble starting for the longest time and they took it off. I've been told by my Dad that it could be put back on the car if I can find someone that knows what they're doing.

I had a factory installed alarm from the dealership, they installed a clifford. They knew what they were doing, no problems till about two years ago when the alarm system went crazy and I couldn't even start my car...had to be towed to dealer.
