[Question] Please help me to remove this hose
Hi guys,
My car is a 98 W202 c230, today I'm asking for some help and guidance.
I am planning to Seafoam my car this weekend, so far I've searched many websites include YouTube, but I just can't find a guide to unplug (remove/disconnect) the vacuum hose connector, so I took some picture from my car, and wish someone can help me out...
I did identified the connector (I guess) but it seems to be firmly connected and I don't want to take any risk to pull it off rudely.
Can anyone please tell me how to disconnect it? Any special tool needed?
Thanks in advance for any help!!
James

Removal
If it's really the power brake vacuum booster line you want to remove, just lightly rotate is about 20 degrees left and right. If it's tight, it will loosen up. A couple drops of oil or WD 40 will help it on it's way.
The plastic looks quite old, and my be brittle, so there is a slight risk of breaking the nipple that goes into the rubber ring.
Be gentle

I figured out that might be too risky to remove the line by myself

The reason I want to remove it is because I want to find a vacuum hose to intake seafoam to the engine compartment.
Already found another vacuum hose to do that and it works perfectly.
