I changed the indicator switch on my C200 1997 and since then the airbag warning light will not go out. I took the car to a local indepndent garage to reset the light. They gave me a code " 4 airbag ignition circuit driver coding fault". can anybody help. thank you

hi i did the same thing been to a load of garages and no one has a mercedes reset tool i bought one from china but it only works on the face lift version 97 onwards they only cost £15 but mine is a 1994 andwill have to go to mercedes but it will only cost £35 just needs reseting if you ever need to do it again as this is a comon fault disconect the battery and leave it for about 30 mins then do it then reconect battery when finished the light shouldent come on bit late for me lol
