lower control arm bushings

hi all,
just got my car back from dealership for camber and toe adjustment...apparently, the rear is in spec with benz. but they found that the front lower control arm bushings are shot. They replaced them last June! How can they wear out so quick? b4 they were replaced, they lasted the entire time (about 8 years)...should I ask them to cover it under the dealer warranty or atleast some of it because it's only been a year...

Your dealer shoud definately cover it. If they give you any trouble, complain up the chain of command until you get your way.

Did they tighten the lower control arm bolts while the car was on the ground or up in the air? They should be tightened with the car on the ground.

i have no idea...i brought it in because they thought it may have been a rear camber and toe issue, but the rear was fine. they just told me that the front bushings have to be replaced again...
