Transportation plastic on new cars?
Does anyone what the material is of the white plastic that they put on Mercedes when they are brand new and they are transporting them on trunks to deliver them to Stealerships? I want to purchase that plastic that goes on and comes off so easily. It looks like a great material. Would work great for long road trips! Thanks!

I know exactly what you're talking about. I just don't know what the name is. My father is the manager of a Toyota Dealership I'll ask him if he can find out. I guess it could work for long road trips...

Automobile Magazine uses clear contact paper. It works very well and comes right off. I think that's what I'm going to start using because I'm getting sick of repainting my front bumper once a year.
