OK the hood kept popping open, so I fiddled with the cable connection to the latch, I'm sure the cable has now become disconnected from the latch. How do I trip the latch to let go of the hood? I there a magic 'sweet spot' or do I have to disassemble the front of the car? I recall that latch mechanism sitting within a dished-out area that probably isn't easy to get to. Is there a way to remove the grill while the hood is closed? Any help is greatly appreciated!
