do you guys notice that if your rear wheels are spinning, that your seatbelt locks? IE, i'm at a stoplight and it's wet outside going uphill. Road isn't very flat (bumps and stuff) and i start spinning my wheels. when i regain traction, my seatbelt is locked up.
is this a safety feature (i'm assuming it is). maybe there are sensors that sense your front and rear wheels aren't moving at the same speed or something? curious...

im almost positive that it is normal, part of the Emergency Tensioning Retractor (ETR) feature that locks the seat belt at certain times when it "senses danger" (i know it happens under hard braking or you try to pull the belt out too fast).
