'99 SL500 & '00 C230

I am new to this forum and have questions about the phones. I bought a '00 C230 would like to install the phone. Is the dealer the only solution, they seem to be outrageously priced. Is there more reasonable solution that uses all the features of the dealer option? Has anyone done this to a '00 C-class. Help!!!!
