just received my haynes service and repair manual for W202s.
DUDE is it complete! they even tell you how to take the engine block apart! these guys must take a whole car apart to do one of these manuals. this will save me a lotta money on stealership maintenance... last one ran about $650
somethin weird tho..
it says that ALL 202s were equipped with this system called ASSYST. what it does is that the car's computer calculates the maintenance schedule according to engine status and shows u a light on the dash with a spanner symbol.
funnily enough my car does not have that! it never showed it either. checked my users manual and no hint of ASSYST..
does anyone kno bout this?

actualy what you should do is make millions of copies so noone will ever hafta go to dealer. We can put dealership out of business and then open up our own and charge double what dealership charged.

 

no way...... im stayin here. nothing is better than this.
it doesnt explain everything. for example, many common faults such as the MAS or the head gasket are not written on this book, pics are in B&W. some of them blurry.
its just for reading....
today is not ur day of luck. you will still have to cope with my *** being here!
