I'm getting ready to turn the 10.000 mile intervalfor the FSS. I will be changing my oil and filters etc...how do I turn off the FSS light and warnings when they show their ugly face?

Are you sure it's not in your manual? All 98+ C-Class' have FSS, and the instructions.

Doors closed!

1. Turn electronic key in steering lock to position 2.

2. Within 4 seconds press button "0" twice.

3. The distance status for days or distance is displyed. Within 10 seconds turn key to position 0

4. Press and hold button "0" WHILE turning key to position 2 again. Continue to hold button "0" After about 10sec. a signal sounds and the display shows 10,000 miles (15,000km's in Canada)

Around page 93?

FSS has nothing to do with OBD-II. OBD is the CE light system, and the CE light and FSS are not linked in any way. the FSS is not mandated by law, is not a diagnostic system, and is in no way linked to the emissions system.
