1995 C280
1995 C280 Central Locking Vacuum Pump
So my Central Locking Vacuum Pump had gone bad, upon searching i found an exact same model from someone parting out their benz. I tried replacing it, but once i was done the car wouldn't start. After trying a few time, i replaced the new pump with the old malfunctioned and it started. So is there something i'm missing? :/

have you tried retracing back the steps your took when you disconnected the busted vacuum and repeating the same on your new vacuum? in theory the vacuum should affect any of the problems you enumerated.
you'd probably need to bring it to a technician to delete the fault the "new vacuum pump" you installed.
had that same kind of problem with my '95's but didn't have to when i replaced it, i'm not quite sure of yours though.
