New Tires for my C43
I'm looking for recommendations on smoother riding tires than the stock ones that came w/ my '99 C43. Something that will absorb the bumps a little better but not compromise too much on handling. Is there such a thing?

i really like the bridgestone s-02 potenzas. but they seem to be rising in prices again as the new s-03 came out. the old expedia s-01 is relatively soft, but still provides ok performance; not the greatest, as it's easier to hydro or to kick out the tail. i think the pzeros are outdated and out of question. u may wanna try the pilot a/s as they're supposed to be slightly softer than the pilot sport.

Pirelli Rosso's are ok
The old PZeros are out dated but these are much nicer. They give a much softer ride and still provide great handling. The only problem I see so far is that they wear out too quickly. I can only guess that your car will burn through them as fast as mine and they seem to only go about 10k - 15k. I may be trying the Michelin A/S as well, however they are more costly than the Pirellis. But they should last significantly longer. I hear from 25k - 30k. They are not twice as much money but may be about 10% more. Could be very worth it. I need an all weather, all season tire and I hear that the Mich's could fit that bill.
