2000 c230
Question 2000 c230 error code 1519
hello...im new to the forum and i have issues with my 2000 c230. im getting a code 1519 concerning a cam shafte sensor. so my question is, has anyone received this "check engine" error and is it something i can fiix myself. thanks

W202 models ends in 6/2000, after that MB replace it to W203,,

code: P1519, refers to "Adjustable Camshaft Solenoid", try to reset the whole system, and see if it appears again or not,,

do you have aspirated Engine or Kompressor Engine..?

hey guy...thanks for the reply. im not to good on diy. just minor stuff. i have a Kompressor engine. do u have a picture of where this solenoid is located and how do i reset it? thanks

If you don't have diagnostic scanner or STAR/SDS, you can disconnect the battery for 2-3 hours or whole night, then reconnected again, everything with reset,,

Your C230K got:-

"camshaft magnet solenoid"

"camshaft position sensor"

2000 c230 error code 1519-0041530028.jpg

those 2 refers to the code: P1519,

if you reset the whole system, and camshaft sensor or solenoid code appears again, have to replace the camshaft position sensor first...

Man that's awsome! do u know if code 0105 means anything? i reset the sensor and checked again and got this error.

Yeah, code: P0105, refers to the "Map pressure sensor"...

It's front of throttle body, with green sticker, (see attached) if it the same one you have..?
