Hey, I just got a set of Silverstars for my 95 C280. HUGE difference in brightness. Lights up the whole road. While the color is definitely much whiter than stock, I was expecting them to be more "HID looking." Still, not bad at all for $40.

 

I've always wondered how those look...always get mixed reviews when people post. Would you mind posting a pic? I ordered Phillips Vision Pluses off www.powerbulbs.com and they are much whiter than stock and light up more road too...so far i'm happy with them. Cool, thanks man.

yeah, i got some brighter bulbs off the internet too. they have a blueish tint, but not bad. i'm very satisfied w/them. i love small and easy upgrades, they keep me satisfied for a month or two... sometimes.

 

Here's a pic of my silverstars halfway installed.

(silverstar on the right) Its hard to see in the picture, but on the road it makes a ton of diffrence. I also aimed the lights up a little bit to increase distance. Not quite HID white, but a major improvement over stock bulbs. worth the price. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old used bulbs.

I just put them in my 1998 c230 the other day. My brother works at kragen auto parts so he got a hook up on the silverstars. They just look much cleaner. No blue in it, but looks very good.
