Ok...i m just wondering if i can just took off teh shim pads out of the H&R cup kit, cuz i already have the lowest spring pads, but there is still about 1 inch space, and i want it to be lower to teh lowest point...should i do that? or teh tires will for sure rub on teh fender????? any one done it before?

i m gonna go to the shop and ***** them out then, they mad eme to buy the shim pads.....they told me i have to have it....hey how big is ur wheels in the front? cuz i have 18x8 in the front and part of the tires rubs when i turn!

 

did u have to get new camber kits?

 

18x8.5 w/ 225/40 18 in front and 235/40 18 rear, I rub a little at full lock, no camber kit

how is yours not rubbing what did u do differently from me I'm running 225 40 18 all around with the highest springpads available with my fenders rolled and I am still rubbing when i hit bumps or with a lot of people in the car. deffintely rubbing when a bust U turns!!! plz help me out

 

i have a c 280 with amg 18's dropped 1.25, i only rub only at full lock also and i dont have rolled fenders either.

Did you drop your car? How about shocks did u change them?
After drop'in the car did u get a 4 wheel alignment? If u did drop your car and did not do the rest then I suggest you reevaluate your alignment and the your shocks.

 

Mine is dropped to no finger gap with 18 by 8 inch tires and 225/40/18's and Bilstein Sport Shocks. I have never rubbed. I would check your allignment. As TP said, every car is different, but we all have the same wheel wells so if yours is dropped the same height with a correct allignment, you should have no problems.
