Angry Now the head rest broke

The passenger side head rest broke free from whatever attaches it to the motor. The motor still runs but the headrest does not move, it is free to pull up and down and take out.

Anyone know if there is an easy way to get into the seat back?

thanks

If you look at the back of the seat, I believe there's two circles near the middle (maybe a little above the middle). I think those two holes are for screws with covers over them...maybe that's how you get to the motor inside there?

I will go look at those in a little while. I know the one on the left is a button to release the head rest. you move it up until the button pokes out, you can see a little buldge appear, you press that and the head rest can be removed. Mine is permanently released lol

The is a common 202 problem, Actually the headrest runs on a plastic track. It broke. You need to replace the plastic track.

If it's the same as the W124, here's a good explanation

I didn't read that descriptive post but I fixed mine with a couple tie raps. It's worked flawlessly for over a year now.
