I think i know why my car isn't working properly.

Not changing a faulty oxy sensor for a year would do it wouldn't it? I think it is the one before the catalaytic converter that needs to be replaced. I guess that why there isn't much power when i floor it. I just changed the fuel filter last night and it is doing the same thing. Can anyone tell me if oxy sensors are hard to replace or if i need the stealership to do it?

Very easy to change if they are not too hard to reach. You will need a special socket that has a cutout for the wire. If they are tight, spray some liquid wrench on the threads and wait 30 minutes.

Are you sure it's not the MAS meter?

Also, does your check engine light come on?

And again what codes do you get?

I have an P0505 error code, Faulty Idle Air Control. I believe that is my MAS.
