I think my problem with the car isnt my o2 sensor but my mass air flow!!!!
SubscribeHey guys,
I went to autozone and the reader gave me a po505 error and the guy told me it was my idle air control function. I have reason to believe that it must be my mass air flow because meineke checked out my muffler and catalytic converter and they said those were fine. So, it must be my mass air flow!!! How do i make sure?? Can i start the car and take off the sensor and see? Please help.
Also, i told the guy that i would hear a clunking noise in the back of the car when i try to floor it, he said something about the transmission in the back or something i dunno. Anyone know what that might be as well?
Is there a way to clean the MAF besides replacing it?

99% it's the MAS... again, what codes do you get and is the check engine light on?
Yes, i have the check engine light and the code was P0505 i believe. It was an Idle Air control error-----> im guessing Mass Airflow thingy.
