bad idea to install xenons into...
regular hagolen housing on a 1998 sclass or any mercedes with reflector housing? my service advisor has told me that the housing on the xenon equipped cars believe it or not are the same as the non xenon housings as both have textured surfaces and the only difference is one will have xenon bulbs and ballast?
i ask this question because i have read that in reflector based xenon installs, the light output is not that great and causes a noticable glare due to the way the xenon bulb will react to the reflectors.
anyone who has installed xenons into their mercedes with reflector halogen headlamps... do you have a noticable glare assoicated with them?

I installed my xenon in last year and no problems as w/ glare, I know they are bright as **** and friends in front of me say they are, but no one other than frineds have said anything to me.
I have been searching also for the last year for aftermarket housing that consist of projector beam lights. The patern of the light is terrible now. all the light is directed in wrong direction.
