Problem after changing fuelpump engine.
The fuelpump engine stopped working, so bought first an used one, but after I installed it, the car would not start.
The I bought a new one and installed and still the car will not start.
Have had car rescue giving power help, and the car started using startgass sprayed into the airtube to the engine, but stopped when it did not get startgass. The car rescue said the fuelpump is working, but still it seems it is problem getting the fuel to the engine.
Anyone that have had the same problem?
Any uggestion what in addition one need to do when changing fuelpump engine?
Next, check the fuel pressure, this will tell you whether the "new" fuel pump is delivering fuel to the fuel rail.
After both of those, come back online.
First will tell that I do not have any device to scan codes.
I called Mercedes dealer here in Norway where I live, and asked the mechanic there and was told to open the fuel line that comes up in the engine room, there should be 2 one with fuel coming and one return. And was told to open that, and let about 0.5 lt get out and collect it in a bottle, and then try starting it again.
The battery is empty so it is now on charging, so will try when it is full charged again.
