about the install... did you clean the rotors before installation?
did you use the special anti squeeck lubricant when installing the pads?... sometimes it can make all the difference...

It will be installed by my brother at his shop, so no excuses for if you did it right or put the anti-squeaking gel.
I'll keep you posted. I was thinking of getting the same setup for my '99 C280 so will be doing my own roadside test.

I wanted the same setup for the rear but doesn't seem like the have the ATE power discs. Just the regular ATE discs.
It'll be a couple weeks to find the true affects and brake dust result.
I had the same problem for my volvo. You may need to file the edge of the pads.
I have Ate Power Discs and PBR Deluxe pads and it's the best, smoothest brake combination I've ever tried. And I've tried EVERYTHING!
Too bad there is always some jerk shooting off his mouth, without having a clue.

Doug... I got these disc and pads based on your recommendations in the archives.... THANKS! Just got regular ATE discs and PBR deluxe pads for the rear... those will be put on Friday.
And will probably be my next setup on the '99 C280.
