If your W202 has a sagging hood silencer pad, and it really bugs you when you open the hood, I have found a way to resolve it. It takes time to do, and a little bit of $$, buy not too much. I have taken photos, so if anyone is interest in knowing how, send me a note.
I would have purchased one, but no dealer I contact for the part, so I went DIY.

 

Part is still available from MB at the dealership. Replace mine with a new OEM MB hood pad about 3 months ago! I ended up using the HD 3M adhesive spray glue to adhere it to the hood.

Well, all the work and effort didn't pay off as hoped. JUKIS79 sent me the part number, and there were 394 units left in Germany.last week.
The engine compartment temp, which reached 200 F broke the glue contact
I ordered one. Now it will be 100% !!!
