I replaced the cluster, but the new one does not have the same odometer reading (+/- 135000 km) difference. This messes up my service logbook.
Can it be done?

1996 Mercedes Benz W202 - My remote control does not lock the car anymore. The remote key still works, but it appears as if it does not communicate with the sensors.
How can I resolve this?

Remote work? You see IR signal?
Point remote to interior mirror press button twice then sw ign on within 30 sec. It should sync.
If not, then you need to desync remote with HHT and try again.
