2010 ML 350 Bluetec
1999 C280 Hard Steering...
Any idea how to fix a hard steering?.. i replaced the damper and also replaced the two front tires... vehicle driver great.. steering is hard.. no notice able leaks from the power steering pump ?.....

I think "Khomer2" refers to steering angle sensor, it's located behind steering wheel airbag,,
your 99 C280 has it for sure,,
many thing could cause steering wheel to be hard, like:-
"bad steering shock absorber/bad oil or bad oil viscosity/dirty oil lines or get clogged/bad oil pump/more air in oil pump lines",,
*have to check these carefully, before tossing money with new oil pump..

I did replace the steering shock and flushed out the power steering pump/lines with new oil... will investigate the sensor... thank you...
