Possible motor mounts problem?

My C280 vibrates pretty well when in drive and stopped at a red light or stop sign. The vibration will go away once I get rolling and and doesn’t resume until I come again to a full stop while in drive.

If I put the car into park, neutral or reverse there is no vibration. Additionally the engine doesn’t seem to bounce much with the hood up while in park, although I haven’t checked it out while the car is in drive.

Is this an issue with my motor mounts? I replaced my front rotors just a few months ago so I figured that can’t be it.

Usually, yes. Motor and transmission mounts collapse with age.
