Out of nowhere, this thing fell in my lap. I bought it for $2500 and it is a joy to drive. It was in the same family for the whole time and the interior is MINT, no rust, and 2 small scuffs on the front and rear bumpers. Anyway, what should I pay most attention to in these first few weeks of ownership?

Welcome Diplomatt,
Congrats!
What part of the country?
Was this recently driven by previous owner and how often?
Last maintenance or servicing?
Recommend you still check all fluids (s.c oil should be good) and the usual lines like the maf, oil separator and it's lines, belts.
Get it up on a hoist and do a once over at all four corners and exhaust system.
It wouldnt hurt for you to give it some love with berryman.

I have a 99 that has almost 190,000 miles and as of right now still runs fine. Good find though I'm glad you got a good deal.
