Just Purchased a 2000 C280 Sport
Hey guys:
Going to my prior post, I just purchased a 2000 C280 Sport with 45K miles on it for 17K. Car drives great and looks awesome with every option except the heated seats, I'll post pics later. Are there any maintenance services I will need to perform at this point? This will be my first mercedes. The factory warranty has expired and I don't have any service records. What services should be done at 45K miles? would you recommend an extended warranty? Any info is appreciated.

I just picked one up too (a week ago). My MAF died and I replaced it then
I put Synthetic oil in. I want to check plugs and air filter. Other than that,
my list is to: flush radiator, trans fluid, bleed brakes replace fluid and inspect
ball joints etc. My car has 36k on it. It just passed inspection so I assume
brakes and exhaust are fine.

Looks like you guys are on the right track. I suggest changing the ACC cabin filter also.
And I recommend Mobile1 0-40W Sythetic (for European cars)
Dealer coolant
Dealer transmission oil

good for you i love that car, i am thinking about buying another c280, i have a 97 now, but could you tell me the difference between 2k and 97 i know it has side airbags and laser key, is there anything else, and what other options are there besides heated seats, and can they be added in?
