Dumb Question about Spring Pads.
Is it really nessasary to have them on at all? I mean it's metal on metal I know, but is it really bad without a 5mm think pad (#1).
Thanks for any insight...

Then again, it's not necessary to have shock absorbers on the car, but how many people do you see running without those?

re: spring pads
make sure you get the right ones to give it a nice raked look. I think I put in 4 in back and 1 in front or vice versa. I will post pics of the finished product tomorrow. Makes a big difference

I acutally had the install done last Friday it turns out I had 5 in the front and 4 in the back. I was thinking I dont really want to buy pads if I have like 2 in the front and back and get 1, then it would be like 5mm difference.
But when Wayne (the installer) took them out he showed me the difference, and it is quite a bit! So he sold me a set of #2 pads, and the car looks great! I love it handles turns with minimal body roll!

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
you dont have to.. but why would you want to not have any pads there? thats asking for issues. just get the smallest pad offered... its not like you are trying to roll around on the wheel wells.
