2000 C280 SRS Light
I am considering a 2000 C280 however it has an SRS light on. What is the worst-case scenario? My scanner came up empty. No code at all.If anyone can tell me what the worst thing is that this could be, I would have an Idea how to proceed. Thanks in advance

To read and/or cancel the SRS code, you need to be able to plug into the 38pin under the hood and scan from there.
Not familiar with your scanner - I doubt there is a 38pin adapter that works with that brand. Do not waste your $$ on the chinese garbage adapters.
Worst case scenario is the passenger seat occupancy sensor needs to be replaced. Or perhaps the wiring connection to it is loose and just needs some love taps.
Either way, you still need to erase the code (which I doubt your present scanner is capable of doing).
I would love to be wrong on this assumption.
