hi my check engine light is on
what does check engine light mean? my car starts to shake really bawd and stuff. wats giogn on

GL320CDI / C63 Edition 507 Coupe (EDP) / E63 S (on order) / G500 / Smart Brabus
Pull the instrument cluster (using the Mercedes pulling hooks available at the dealership). After you do that, you can get to the bulb for check engine light. Twist the base of the bulb and remove it, and replace the cluster by pushing it in firmly.

All better!

i like to thank you, scorchie for your very informative and quick response. i will deftinally go try taking the bulb out and see how the car drives afterwards. thank you again

i would suggest one of the following:

a) remove bulb
b) get new engine
c) blow car up

I tell you, get that stupid check engine light out ,thats what I did couple years ago light didn t come on since I am very happy without it. one thing check your gas cap make sure it is tightly closed

I told tP to come over here with the lights and your car and I have the housing the the connector that goes to the lights and that will make it a snap.
