94-97 C280 wanted
Expanding my ongoing W124 search to include the W202. Located in LA area but will drive some distance for the right car. Interested in any leads on a nice, sub-$6K C280 preferably with a black or grey interior; would like leather but MB Tex not a deal-breaker. 94-97 I6 M104-powered cars only, NO V6s.

I agree that you're better off sticking with a 1993 or older W124 rather than the W202. There's also the W201 2.6. As a W201 owner, I can say that both of these are better built than the W202. No offense to W202 owners. I will also say that good ones are going up in value so you might not get the best one for your budget.
