cl500 AMG Monoblocks on w202
Im fresh in the euro game, and if I could go back I would've gotten e55 wheels but my buddy at mercedes sent me the link to some Monoblocks and I went for it. after research I realized that the offset is too high for these wheels to fit. they are 18x8.5/9.5 +46, ive already purchased and restored these wheels unfortunately. I would love to make them fit but with more and more research, 17s seems to be the best. regardless, my main issue is just trying to the find the correct front axle hub centric spacer. All my research pointed torwards h&r but when I call them, they seem clueless to the idea of a special spacer for the front due to the dust cap. ive found some eibach spacers that say they will fit but at this point I just don't know what to think, I don't want to waste anymore money than I already am in this ordeal with the offset being 10mm off what I need it to be . Its crazy how hards its been to find information on a hubcentic spacer that will fit the w202. ive found w203 info and some other part numbers but nothing on w202.. im also wondering if 10mm will even be enough considering the aggressive spec of the wheel. Ive been researching this for days and can't seem to find anything that's concrete .. I would really appreciate some incite on this subject. thanks.
