96 c220 rough shift when first starts. 94k on engine
After first starting and driving shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. Then shifts normally after that.
i was told its the catalytic converter needs to warm up before it upshifts for emmisions control. But when i warm up for 10 mins it still does it. Also was told its the shift solenoid?
I've taken to driving in 3rd when i start it then shifting to drive for higher speeds and it works fine. Kind of like sport mode.
However, im planning to sell it and was hoping i could fix that first as not to scare buyers
