My w202 1996 C280 started showing intermittent failure of the turning indicators and the flashers. But the wipers turned on automatically a couple of times. So my mechanic replaced the multi funtion assembly but that did not fix the problem of the indicators and flashes which failed on the drive home after the car was fully warmed up.
I know the flashers relay switch may be the problem but does it also control the wipers?
