Who has changed their side mirrors with the blinkers built it?
I was wondering what to look out for (mainly in wiring)? I like the blinker on the side mirrors and want to do this for my W202.

You want the cover only
or a "real" W210 mirror (you cna also have them folding)
I installed W210 blinking/folding and the blinking part is very easy... just tap into some wires that run near the door sills.
The folding part is another story

the instruction on club202 are really short.. I had an hard time installing mine with those instruction, especially for the Fuse part. I made my airbag light go on and had to ask the dealer to reset it.
The blinker on the mirror only blinks (obviously) and i'Ts not lighten up otherwise.

hmm I figured as much, but I remeber reading somewhere that someone was talking about auto, my first thought was "wtf" but I just assumed I was a n00b, and can you care to make a better guide...please...pretty please? I'd be willing to put a cherry on top. and does it really look better than the mirrors on now, I mean I use to really want to change them badly, but then I saw a few picks where it just didn't look right, then again I've seen pics where it has made the car too

well, if you go into folding, since you have a C280 you might be able to follow their guide. My C230k had very different fuse box and fuses locations so I had to check the service manual to get the right location.
If you only go blinking with the updated W210 look (aspherical, heated) then it's relaly easy you only need a test light, screwdriver, electrical wire and some connectors.

I don't care so much for the folding, just the blinking. How much did u pay for the W210 mirrors?
