C200 (W202) Juddering after service

Hi Guys.
Thanks in advance for any help.
So I've recently taken my C200 to the mechanic to have serviced. The car stood for about 6 years (with me driving it only every other month for a few kilometers and starting her every few weeks to keep the engine turning). She was always serviced at the dealership until now.
The car is a 1999 model (manual) with 110 000km on the clock. We've never had any issues with the car, but I now need to use it more often (had a small daily before), so I decided to have it serviced with all the fluids replaced as I assume that oils, brake fluids, gearbox oils, diff oils, coolants all have a shelf life. I am not mechanically inclined at all.
Because there's no dealership or specialist where I live, I drove 2,5 hours out of town to get it serviced. The drive down went smooth. The running around in the other town went decent as well (before and after the service). But on my way back at around 45 minutes into my trip, the car started juddering and felt like there was lack of power all of a sudden, almost like I had one less cylinder. So I stopped at the nearest town and at idle, the car was juddering/shaking quite a bit. I phoned the mechanic and he asked me to lock/unlock/reset some function on the car. I took a casual drive back for the remainder of the trip with no other issues.
The mechanic suggested I get the fuel pump replaced as soon as possible as its old. He couldn't find anything else wrong with the car when he serviced it other than the throttle body which he cleaned.
So my questions are these... Should this be a major concern for me? What could cause the sudden juddering? Could all the new fluids have something to do with this? Perhaps cleaning the throttle body?
I apologize if this question was asked before.
Regards
