95 c220 occasional stalling, stumbling, poor acceleration and more!

First time caller, long time listener..

I picked up a 95 c220 afew weeks ago for 500$ CA500ith a blown head gasket. Replaced head gasket, and all associated parts/gaskets and it was running and driving great. Now, occasionally the car wants to stall out when in gear while stopped. And when It does this, after I start moving again it almost feels like a clutch slipping.. that's the best way I can think to describe it. All of this happens about 50% of the time. And it will stall out about 30% of the time. I've started just putting it in neutral when I'm at a stop light, but that's annoying.. when it's not acting this way, it drives and shifts really smooth. Holds idle at 750 smoothly, and accelerates smoothly. I'm suspecting something is going on with the Trans? Atf looks clean, and doesn't smell burnt. But I'm not 100% sure what atf is in there, so I'm thinking I will do a service with the proper mb atf on my next days off. But, any and all input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Check the intake pipe running across the engine. The one between the MAF Sensor and the Throttle body, sometimes the rubber parts tear and you have an un-metered air leak.
