New 1996 C220 owner - can't find port to test fuel pressure

I'm new to the forum and working on Mercedes. I would really appreciate some help. I just acquired a 1996 C220 that hasn't been started in 2-3 years. Battery was completely discharged when I got it. I installed a new battery. Now the starter will turn the engine but it will not fire up. I suspect a bad fuel pump but can't find the Schrader valve to check fuel pressure. Could someone please tell me how to find it?

Remove the plastic engine cover from the top of the engine. Just pull up on the corners...there are no fasteners involved. Underneath that, on the passenger side of the engine (on left hand drive cars) near the front you will find the schrader valve on the fuel rail. It has a black screw on cap. This is my 99 C280 with a v6...maybe your 4 cylinder is similar?
