I recently a few months ago purchased a 2000 Mercedes C280 with the five speed conversion. I love the car when I first got it it was definitely quick not too quick but well done conversion but now I’m experiencing a starting issue to where I even had to roll started a few times, but now it completely lost power and died on me and I had to tow it home but I’ve replaced the battery the starter. The alternator is rebuilt and I even replaced the crankshaft position sensor. Well I failed attempt on that the bolt that hold my old crankshaft sensor wouldn’t budge so I ended up cutting around it and removing the old sensor and put the oven in to my defeat. It’s not all the way flushed down in there. Could that still be my issue on why the car is not starting now I really need to know this car is just beautiful.
