Just a few pictures
noticed the ac pressure reading is 127.5 bar before i replace the climate control unit
Thats why the suction fan was blowing at full speed

Got a new update, the steering wheel has a knocking sound coming from the upper steering column, somehow the shaft is a little loose
this rarely happen on mercedes but unfortunately it did, so instead of buying another stock upper steering shaft, surprisingly i found a telescopic steering shaft for w202, which is not so common on w202
complete bolt on, no modification required
The knocking sound is gone now and i can adjust the steering wheel in and out
Comparing side by side, all the mounting bolt is exactly the same, no additional bolt needed whatsoever

So now i got to handle the brakes, the OEM front disc is 288mm 25mm thick, I meassure the thickness on my disc is 20.5mm so its way far below the manufacturers minimum thickness, no wonder the brakes feels unresponsive.
I Have to replace the front wheel bearings as well so i will do it all together, meanwhile i have a set of low miles OEM brakes from w210 E320, which i believe it will be plug and play to w202, i know c43 and e55 share the same calipers and disc, so i hope this would be a complete bolt on
the OEM E320 brakes specs its the same with e430 so this should be good enough to stop the car when the engine swap is done
E320 brakes specs are 300mm and 28mm, you can see on the OEM ate calipers they embosed the recommended disc brake size on the calipers
I am waiting for the front bearing to arrive, so i might do it next week
Below are some pictures from the e320 brakes

Got a new retrofit idea, the late 202 doesnt come with ambient light on the rear view mirror and mine doesnt have autodimming mirror, so i bought a w210 facelift rear view mirror with ambient ligth, so at night the middle console wouldnt be too dark
Its plug and play, very easy installation

Long day today, i replaced the front bearing and installed the W210 front brakes, by looking on spec sheet is doesnt look so different, but when i compare them side by side, wow im so surprised
Alll installed now, i gotta bleed the brakes tomorrow, hopefully everything went well
The left bearing is buster and the grease is all burned
W202 disc vs w210 disc, big difference
Splash shield installed
Aftermarket front bumper splask shield
Installed w210 E320 front brakes
thickness Comparison of w202 vs w210 disc
New fresh grease
Tes fitting the E320 calipers, all bolt on
Clean up the wheel hub

Updates for the w210 brakes, i bled the brakes, and pedal feels a little soft, and the braking is not satifying, i guess its because the brakepad and rotors are used parts.
From my previous experience with previous cars replacing with big brakes would increase the braking significantly
I took it for a long drive around 100km, it gets better but not to my expectation
Maybe i need to drive more to make sure the pads is seated right
Or maybe i should bleed it again, i dont know
Could be the calipers too
If there is no improvement in a week, i guess i have to replace the brakepads with new pads and check the calipers pistons

Updates
The brakes feels much better after around 200km usage, probably because the pads and the disc are used parts, it needs time to break in, not so good to my expectations yet but its ok now
I got a fuel leak somewhere around the fuel pump area, i found that the oem fuel hose, from the fuel pump to the fuel filter was cracking, it suprises me that the oem hose has no thread on it, when i turn on the car it expand like a baloon, probably the previous owner messed with it, also the clamps was a cheap clamps
Got a new cohline fuel hose with thread and replaced the clamps with solid thick stainless clamps
The cohline fuel lines are very flexible, so i can make a U shape from the fuel pump to the fuel filter without kinking it

Got another barn find car, this one is unique, C320 avantgarde, but the previous owner messed a lot with it, maybe after im done with the w202, ill start restroring the 203 to factory spec, i dont think i would retrofit anything since it is avantgarde spec, better keep it original

Quick updates, aftet replacing the fuel line, I suspected the new fuel filter will collect so much dirt from the fuel tank since the car has been sitting for so long, so i replaced the fuel filter again, and somehow the idle is much better now, almost completely flat, i was so surprised, i didnt expect this result!
Before i still have the slightly shaking idle when there is no load, but now its all good!
I drove around today, and this car feels soooo much better now with the new brakes, new bearing and smooth engine
Now the exhaust sound is getting annoying, i have to think about this soon, maybe find a complete used C43 full exhaust system, to accomadate the new engine swap later on, or maybe custom exhaust with 2mm stainless pipes.
Im also looking for headers options, i know that long tube header wont fit on w202.
I am sure i Dont want to stick with oem headers, its such a terrible design. Mb use the same header for all m112 engine, starting from 2.4 2.6 3.2 and 3.7, and for m113 engine 4.3 5.0 5.5 55k all same headers
It couldnt be good for the bigger type engines.
So gotta do more research now

Please reply on my other threads (e320 thread) i explained a lot of things there, it should answer all your questions, for your info its been 8 years and it still running strong, no issue at all
