Can't go above 3500rpm. Feel’s like a RPM limiter.
Hi. I need some help. I'm working on a W202 220C (gasoline) from 1995.
I can't go above 3500rpm. MAF sensor replaced. Lamda sonde replaced. Fuel filter replaced. Spark plugs replaced.
It kinda feel's like there's a speed/rpm limiter.
There's a single fault code. "Lamda regulation, out of reach". That's why i changed the sensor.
Any idea's?

Yes was blown for some reason.
When car is stopped without gear then max rpm cannot be more from 4000 (safety reasons) and this depend from speedometer .Perhaps there is the problem, cannot read the speedometer (e.g. faulty wiring).
