1999 w202 m111, 722.6 Dilemma
I am really starting to lose all hope of being able to save my old w202 1999 c240 V6.
I'm from South Africa and definitely not a mechanical genius, I spoke to a mechanic about rebuilding the engine (it smokes, really bad).This is financially not an option. I have found a few donor engines that are cheaper.
Please can you guys weigh in on engine swaps, (best candidate suggestions) from the simplest for example take m111 engine out, put in donor m111.9, m113 or 2jz engine in and run, all with a 722.6 gearbox, without ecu issues or other modules or electronics mating issues.
Or other possible solutions that have been done successfully, with examples or easy and simple problem/solution instructions or video links or blogs that I can turn too.
