1994 C280 Electrical Issue?

1994 C280 Electrical Issue?
Hi All,
I have a '94 C280 and the turn signal both left and right often do not work. I have checked the bulbs. I already replaced the hazard light switch. Also I noticed the dash, speedometer, gas gauge, etc. sometime do not work and suddenly it come alive so I am trying to see if anyone out there knows what to do to troubleshoot and hopefully correct the issue. The engine runs fine, only 194k original miles since I purchased it new with just 8 miles on it! Gas engine, if that matters.
