offset should be ET 35. Tire for the fronts you should run 225/40/18 and the rears you can run whatever you want. I run 225/40/18 fronts, and 255/35/18 rears. 225/40, 235/40, all the way up to 255/35 will fit fine in the rears.

Two more things to consider when you run staggered.
1. If you buy directional tires, you can not rotate any of them.
2. For 225's front & 255's rear your wheels should be 8" wide at the front & 9" wide at the rear.

i think the 225 40s should be fine all around, performance wise i assume difference is minimal
if i do 225 40s is there any point in geting 18 by 9s rear or just stick with 18 by 8

what do u mean by center bore. ?
so being 38mm it wont matter? how much of a difference does matter?
im not sure who makes these but they are very sweet looking . i guess they are brabus replicas. wonder why brabus didnt patent them, lol

Most aftermarket wheels have a larger bore ( so they can fit a variety of vehicles ), and then use a plastic or metal ring insert,( bushing ) to reduce the too large diameter to the correct size for the vehicle.
These are called hubcentric rings, because that is what they do, centre the wheel on the hub.
If you don't need to use them, all the better.
The 38 mm offset just moves the wheel IN 1/8" more than a 35 mm offset would.
Means absolutely nothing when you're going with a 7.5 or 8" wheel.
Sometimes you may see offsets of 20+ up to 50+ wheels offered on ebay. These would not fit your car, as they would move the wheel in or out much more than the body can handle.

I have those rims on my car. Same exact thing except I have 7.5 in front and 8.5 in rear. I believe the offsets are 35mm and 38 mm. I have posted pics on this site...on the c class picture thread. The tires that i am running are 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. Look perfect.

the company that makes these wheels, velocity motoring said that the 35mm will rub on the car but the 38 will be fine. they said the car comes stock with 45mm offset?
