The race is on to who get's it first! My second one left Munich yesterday on a slow boat. My first one finally made it to Becker and it's sitting on someone's desk is all they were able to tell me after a week. Arrghhhh!

Mine has a seal on the front. Hmmm I'll look again and see if there is some kind of part number on it for you.

they sell it on Autoclass.net for $649. It is sort of expensive.

I got my radio and it is working great. The CD player works, the CD changer works, the sound is soooo much better. I like the RDS. On one station it displayed the 'Playing Usher on KIIS FM'. I set all 8 presets. The only unsual thing so far is you can not switch from to the CD Changer while the CD is playing, you have to switch to radio and then back.

Yes, you can! tap on the CD button once, it should switch to the changer. Any word on the manual?

Haven't heard on the manual from Becker yet. I would imagine we can contact a dealer in the UK and get it . I have the German manual and I pretend I understand it. Here's a pic for people that are concerned that the CD changer works with the Audio 10. It shows the CD number and the track number that's playing. I'll post some pics of the vent that needs to be removed so those that install themselves understand what's going on.

These are the tabs that you press to release the vents so you can rotate them up to access the torx screws on the bottom and release tabs on top.

These are the clips that you have to pull down from inside the top of the vent. Stick a thin flat blade screwdriver in a slot on top and pull down and tug on the vent.

Here's a side view of the clips that must swing down to release the vents.

I wish I can get a good picture of the spring clips at the bottom but you'll have to take my word for it. Open the ashtray half way and you'll see (or at least feel) the two clips (one on each end on the bottom of the panel). You pull them down with a screwdriver until they release.

Once you have the panel out then removing the radio is a cinch. It's held in with two #20 torx screws on each end.

DO NOT PLAY THE RADIO WITH ONLY THE POWER PLUGGED IN. I DID ONCE AND GOT A "PROD" ANTI-THEFT LOCKOUT.

Buellwinkle, do you remember which wiring harness connected to the plug behind the A/C fan controller? I have 2 that have the same plug, and I don't want to burn anything up. One of them is 3 black wires molded together, and the other is 3 colored wires just taped together. One of them must not plug into anything, but I don't remember which one.

The one you have showing is the black 3 wire molded lead. If you look at my picture, you will see another lead next to it that has 3 milti-colored wires. Any idea where it goes? I cannot find any other plug that it would fit into.

I don't recall seeing the colored one... Only those on my pic had been disconnected and than reconnected. All has been fine since. Hope this helps.

I think the milticolored harness fell down from up above because it is much longer than the black one, but there is still nothing to plug it into. Maybe it is for an option I don't have. Thanks!

Since our cars are pre-wired for Tele-Aid, COMAND, and telephone, your mistery wire bundle must be related to one or more of those items.

Sorry, I didn't disconnect these, only the radio connectors and the top small square plug for the airbag light.
