How do I make it black again???
Original message:
When I switched from my winter to my summer wheels a couple of months ago, I tried to clean the inner part of the fenders (I don't know the english word for it, but what I'm talking about is the black plastic covers on the inside of the fenders :o ) with just every product I could find in my garage, from regular soap thru some vinyl cleaning stuff to chemical degreaser... However I didn't manage to get it clean at all. It's not black but still brownish and it don't look too good.
How do I do to make this "supposed to be black" plastic on my C-class beeing black again??
Thanks in advance!

Ps. Forged in some text to make it more C-class related
Ds.
Find some of that Orange Type Citrus Cleaner - several varieties - and spray into wheel wells. Spray it off with high pressure hose. Repeat. Take clean old cotton towel and wipe grime off. Try the Orange Cleaner Again and Rinse off.
Wipe off again to get all the areas you missed the first time. Now get a tire blackening product - I use Zaino Z-16 that I placed in a spray bottle - and spray the blackening product in the wheel well. Let sit.
Mine look really good.
Haven't tried the old high pressure wash at the local DIY car wash - but you might try that. And while you're doing that, go ahead and do the underside of your car.
After you actually "clean" the wells, then any tire blackening product should work well if spread/sprayed properly.
