rear brake
hey everone...
i have a question for you guys... hmm i have a clicking noise coming from the rear... when i put my new 19's bout a day of driveing they come up... then when i asked my frend at carlab we checked it out.. and looked like the brakes are spinning off... and it make a noise when its spins faster... imma see if the dealer can fix it... is it under warrenty? or no.... when i had my service A which was like back in sept 04... they sed i had only 70% brake life left... does that mean that i need to change my rear brakes .. now...can you guys help me please.. i wanna see if you guys had this problem..... thanks...

aye greg.. i am rubbing on the inner front wheel well... when i make like a left or right turn it rubs.. what should i do? should i get spacers? is that gonna help? or what? i dont wanna mess up the plastic fender well...

The inner front part of the bumper you can't fix. Will not help if you put spacers either. I ran into the same problems when I had my coilovers and I had a 12mm spacer in the front and it still rubbed in that area. Darwin said that just some of the cars when lowered will rub that front area and there really is nothing you can do about it, except maybe use a different tire brand. Since I changed back to sport springs and KONI adjustables all my problems have been solved. Is it really that much rub that it bothers you? I know it rubbed when I turned to the left or was backing up and I turned the wheel to that side too. Good luck man.

oh k thanx man... yeah darwin sed just to drive and it will wear out...well iono it kinda bothers me bcuz i bought a benz for it to not rub.. but hey im risking it with putting 19's and lowered.. haha aye did you put the puddle lights? ights man

Yeah, got the Brabus puddle lights on a couple of weeks ago. They look awesome at night! Getting my sills put on Tuesday. Hope everything works out for you. You gonna make the meet on the 26th? Hopefully final plans will be posted soon.

I have a noise also at the rear brakes, but I have 17'' C7 stock wheels, and I only ear it when I reverse and brake for stopping and then when I stop breaking for start moving foward it "clink", it also happens in inclinatined roads, when stopping and sarting to move!!!
