Will Non-Staggered Wheels Look Strange?

Hey Guys,
I will be ordering Moven M13's in the morning, and I'm agonizing over sizing. I think I have read every message on this board relating to this topic.
A simple question: Will it look strange if I run 19X8.5 all the way around? My eye is so used to seeing a deeper dish in the back that I just dont know.
I am worried about fitment since I do NOT want to roll fenders. (I had a bad experience with this on my old M3.) I also do not want to use a 255 size tire in the rear as it will be too stretched on the 9.5.
Some say it'll fit without rubbing, some say it wont...I'd like to play it safe unless it might look stupid. Does anyone have pics of non-staggered setups on C's?
As a side note, I will keep my H&R CO suspension set fairly low....I am aiming for a look just like the car pictured below.
http://www.andreimatei.com/brabus.jpg
Opinions?
Thank you all in advance for any help and last minute advice! I appreciate you all very much!

If you have the sport break caliper, I don't think the front wheel will fit without spacers...please double check with moven.

Nothing wrong with 19x8.5 all around (assuming they all have the same offsets)...the only difference is if you look at your car from behind, the rear wheels are kinda tucked in way inside the fender well.

andrei, you can actually place 265's on the 9.5 rim. It does not look stretched at all... i had 235 in the front and 265 in the rear and i had no rubbing or anything on my old C W203. Go staggard as it looks sick!

Thank you, everyone, for your replies so far!
Essa: Yeah "rims tucked way inside" was what I was worried about! Moven suggested a 5-7mm spacer and since I have the H&R CO's which already BARELY clear with stock wheels, I was thinking of getting H&R Hubcentric 10mm spacers. Opinions?
x-tian-230k: Was your car lowered?
xxbenzc230kxx: Thank you very much for the offer. I'm pretty stuck on the M13's tho. I'll pass that info along to my fellow MB friends however for you!
Any other comments, suggestions, opinions or advice is welcome from anyone. Starting to thing I better get the staggered and risk it!
Gonna order later on this afternoon or tomorrow..since I now may need to research tires in the 265 size Gonna give myself a bit extra time!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks!

andrei,
Moven suggested 5-7mm spacers just to clear the sport break caliper. If you're gonna slammed your car using coilover, you need more than 5-7mm spacers because the wheels will start rubbing against the coilover spring. If it's to wide of a spacers, your front wheels gonna stick out and start rubbing against the fender. IMHO, don't lowered your car too much...it's gonna look like a rice. Peace out

Oh, I'm with you on that one, ESSA! Too low is gross looking.
I was going for a look just like this pic:
http://www.andreimatei.com/brabus.jpg
To me that's a pefect drop. I hope I can achieve this without rubbing. Thats not rice is it? Opinions welcome![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks bro. I hope a 10mm will do me...im just not sure...if I should step up to a 12 or not....grr this is all so trial and error.

All the C-Classes (C180, 200 and 240) here do not have staggered wheels. The SLK200 does not come with staggered wheels. They all look ok to me, even though I would have preferred the staggered wheels on my car. In fact, I think most uninformed non-MB owners would not even notice the difference. This is just my personal opinion.

I think you should be ok with just wide enough rear wheels, regardless of whether they are staggered or not, as that's what is most easily noticeable. To my eye, too narrow tires at the rear do look odd (especially on a RWD car), but with 265 you should be just fine - and yes, they are ok to go on 9.5" rims.

Staggered means that the rear wheels are a larger width than the width of the front wheels. As in 8.5in wide on front and 9.5in wide on rear. Hope that helps

andrei,
Just a thought...have you considered other type of rims from different manufactures? Not that we can't afford it...HRE and Iforged will be too expensive IMHO...but TSW also make good rims.
Check out TSW Bremma, Thruxton or Catalunnya....they come with staggered fitment and NO SPACERS needed....that's the beauty of it. I bought my staggered 19" rims, tires, balanced, lug nuts shipped to my front door for less than 2K.
The quality are amazing....PM Neil (BlackC230Coupe) or send him an email (BlackC230Coupe@aol.com) he'll hook you up.
BTW, the picture you showed me...that's not ricey....in fact, that's pretty much like my setup.

Everyone: Thank you very much for your help and comments so far!
Yeah since I bought my car last August, I've been seriously checking out wheels for a while now. I've considered a whole bunch of em! My initial worry was weight..both the Brabus Monoblock VI and the Moven M13's (the replicas...booo, cheesy, i know) were very heavy. But again, they were the only wheel I was really obsessed with appearance wise. Both needed spacers so that was upsetting too. (Reps are actually a tad lighter)
My final three I considered were BBS LM, TSW Bremma, and these DPE wheels which are not that well known (my second choice over Brabus):
http://www.dpengineering.cc/DPE%20Customers/benz04.JPG
DPE's look hot I think, but I'm grumbly that they are not a true two peice..there has been much discussion about that on the boards already so I wont get into it. That and for 1500 more than the M13's not sure if they are worth it...
In the end, the fact of the matter was...I realized my car just isn't really a performance car (maybe I'm biased based on past rides..so no flaming please
) so I thought I'd just go for quality, strength, looks, and fitment over weight reduction. It's to the point where, things not rubbing or fitting all ghetto-like is my TOP priority now. When I mod cars, I like to do it right. (This whole replica thing has me feeling iffy, btw hehe)
My package should come in around $2200 with yoko avs sports. I would perfer other tires but not many are available in the 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 sizes. Still agonizing over tire selection...opinions?
Oh, Essa, if you have pics of your car, I'd love to see them!
Thanks to everyone again! Luckly, I've been swamped at work so I've dragged my feet on this purchase. Soon, very soon. Unless you all convince me into something else, hehe.
'preciate you all.

unfortunately, the rivets on those replicas are too close to the edge of the inside of the wheel and don't match the original brabus very well.
Here is a pic of the Moven replicas. Very very very close.

either that or I'm loosing my mind....you guys seeing what I'm seeing?

OH MAN! Thats HOT!!!! I LOOVE that color. And the wheels look damn good! Yeah I think if you raised it 10-15mm in the rear, like you were wanting to, it would be perfect so the fender gaps would be even! ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Hmmm...now you got me thinkin hehe...
