C230 Stereo

Okay, heres the deal... I want to hook up my Ipod to my 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe. I looked at the Icelink and had a couple questions. It said on the denison site that ID3 tags were not compatible with mercedes stereo, is this true? Also, are there any aftermarket stereos you could recommend that I could install that do support ID3 tags and the Icelink?
Thanks, Erik
Thanks, Erik

All that means is the song info will not show up on the radio display. If going for an aftermarket stereo, just get one that has an ipod hook-up option. Alpine and Pioneer both have iPod interface kits for their radios, others do too, just dont know off the top of my head.

thanks, I know the Ipod is compatible but the ID3 tags are not and this would be useful considering the fact that I have over 3000 songs... I kinda want to see whats playing...
