Okay, so Flip and Frank were able to convince me (didn't take much convincing, considering this one is VERY unique, especially on a sedan)...And I'm so glad they did! It seriously feels like day and night with this steering wheel. I feel in so much more control of the car than before. Thanks to flip for help on the install (thank God he has tools, cuz I didn't have any of the necessary ones). Sorry, no DIY, cuz it's almost exactly the same as the 4 prong steering wheel DIY. Only difference is the clip that connects to the airbag is a little different on the 3 prong steering wheels, but one can figure out how to release the clip when seeing it.
Even though I thought it would look super funny to be mix-match, it's actually not that bad at all. The steering wheel is a little darker in person than it shows on the pics. It was night, so the flash made the interior seem much lighter.
btw, I still eventually want to trade for an ash 3 prong steering wheel (even though I think the mix-match looks okay), so for any of you coupe owners or 2004.5 SS owners with Ash interior (light grey/grey), if you like the mix-match color scheme, I'm willing to trade with you no problem. Obviously, it'd have to be in the So-Cal area, in order to swap:

Enjoy the pics!

For those of you that are too lazy to search for the different bolt-on parts I have from different manufacturers...
MH-Dezent roof spoiler
MH-Dezent front grille
Carlsson (style
![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
Kleemann Trapezoid muffler
Renntech Pulley Kit
Brabus Steering Wheel
Brabus Swaybars
TEIN Super Street Coilovers
OZ Superleggera III (custom color matched centers)
Goodyear GS-D3 Tires
JPDT Custom Headers
Denso Spark Plugs
I would have Carlsson pedals, but decided to give those to Frank to keep his whole theme going.

Very nice wheel drex
Now I have to consider getting one myself now, after holding your Brabus wheel, my stock wheel feels so much smaller in comparison
And dude I love the way your car rides in the corners, ABSOLUTELY NO BODY ROLL!! I'll probably need to get a set of H&R or Brabus sways if I want to keep up with you in the twisties

yeah, i wanna do sways as well. i'd love to see what your car runs in the 1/4's drez. even though its nothing like an ///AMG, its still way faster then about 90% of the c230's, prolly running with or passing the c350's.
also, im dying to see a dyno sheet. c'mon maaaaaaan! ill have some "moddest" mods soon enough. heh, then i MIGHT be able ot hang with you, haha

How do you like the parking lights? You need to snap some pics and add a post to the parking light thread.

As for passing the C350's, I don't know if I would go that far. The C 350's are actually deceptively quick and under-rated as far as power goes. The 260+ (can't remember exact numbers) that MB indicates for the C 350 is so much less than it really is. And C350 w/ good tuning only, will pull away easily from a tuned 230K w/ bolt-ons and tuning (including mine). That being said, if it's on the track or in twisties, that may be a different story.
LOL...final dynos will come in due time. Just haven't had time to go bring my car in to complete everything.

After the photoshoot I'm probably gonna make my own modding thread like yours, Saprisas and rlee's. Hopefully my thread will pull all those C350 owners out from their hiding places

Swaybars are so worth it. Just look at the dedication Flip put in to get his rear swaybar on last night!

but yeah, pretty interested in what your puttin down. have you hit up euro tuner bout throwin yours in there? last couple issues i've seen havent paid MB too much notice, but when they do its nothing too amazing [no offense blake, not what i mean exactly, ya know]. just sayin we as modders of MB dont get recognized too much. when in fact, we should be a lil more respected given the amount of time devoted to tuning and given parts available. YOU out of all of us deserve the most credit. with all the prototype and one-off peices you have, your car is DEFINETLY one of a kind.
sorry to thread-jack ya. just goin off on a tangent...

You bring up a good point though. Maybe I will just continue a two tone pattern...but...flip just gave me an idea that'll really make it stand out. I'll just have to do some research on how much it'll cost.

white and whiter
the most accurate would still be KW and NM rating which no conversion is needed.

yeah, i think once everything is done on mine, it will feel different and put a few more tally marks on the old dyno board, heh.

In fact, I have thought about submitting to Euro Tuner, but...I'm waiting until the exterior is done completely. The "power" stuff is still very much a work in progress, so once it gets to that point, then maybe I'll see if they'd be interested in putting my car in there. Really, I never thought I'd get this involved at all. I thought I'd do my few mods and be done.
That being said, right now, I'm just taking it step-by-step. Until my car isn't my "daily driver" anymore, I don't know if I'll be at the point to consider my car "magazine" or "show" ready (especially cuz the interior/bose audio is pretty boring and will be for a while - last priority).

Thanks, thanks. No problem. I don't consider this a thread jack.

agreed man. i dont think my interior is too exciting as far as show. for me, im perfectly content with it. although i wouldnt mind the blue led swap out from orange. thats about it. talking to dension about the ipod kit for the D2B system. waiting to hear back.
from an outside view, aside from the performance mods, the car definetly is worked up. i figure, give it a shot. i think when all is said and done, im going to give it a shot. cant hurt.
